Warm greetings from the Philippines!
Oh, your cat and I have the same name. My name is Bea, too. My real name is Beatriz.

I'm happy to see that you all made it home safely! I would also love to know where in Kampala I could purchase a similar carrier for a dog.

I would try the SPCA (Society for the Protection and Care of Animals, I think). That's where we got our cat carrier. Can't remember what street they're on, but you can find it listed in the Eye.

Greetings, I'm also an expat in Uganda trying to bring my cat home, I've tried finding a carrier for flying in cabin, but have had no luck. I only have a hard case and know the cat will have to fly under the plane. My main concern is hydration. I see you cats have food and water bowls, but who made sure they had water? What steps did you take to make sure they were seen to? Thank you! If you want to email me personally my email is I'm pretty desperate to get my kitty home safe.
